There is only a very limited bus service into Hereford making the accommodation unsuitable for visitors with no transport.

From north of the city of Hereford turn off the A4103 onto the A4110 travelling towards Canon Pyon. After about 3 miles there is a layby containing a telephone box and post box. Immediately ahead is a cross roads marked Portway. Go over the cross roads and Heron House is the first house on the left. No credit cards accepted
