The English Lake District is a wonderful and unique place to visit and the Craig Manor hotel is a charming and well located little 3 star property, offering well priced, traditional style accommodation and a very warm welcome for anyone staying. (GW 04/2010) Set in the heart of the Lake District on the road leading into Bowness on Windemere, the views from the rear of the hotel are what initially attracts visitors: literally overlooking Lake Windermere - it is a sight to behold. The whole of the National Park is easily accessible from Craig Manor and Bowness is located minutes down the road. It is one of the most vibrant villages in the Lakes with everything from the Beatrix Potter musuem to cafe's, restaurants, pubs, and of course the shores of the Lake with the fantastic views.
