The surrounding countryside begs to be explored - within 10 minutes of the chateau you'll find excellent sporting opportunities: golf, horseback riding, canoeing, and tennis. Travel farther to Montignac (22 km) or Périgueux (30 km) for more bustling medieval towns with wonderful markets.
