But also go out for dinner; the (fish) dishes are delicious and the Portuguese wines of good quality. One of the most beautiful beaches of the Silver Coast is already 2 km (Praia do Mar). The beach is large, beautiful and lies on the lagoon of Obidos. The Silver Coast is also known for its good surf possibilities and you can take surfing lessons on several beaches. The more experienced surfer can go to the beautiful beach of Baleal at about 35 km, next to Peniche or to Nazaré (27 km).
