There are historic towns and cities - fabulous quirky Totnes is just ten minutes drive away Dartmouth Plymouth and Exeter are 30 minutes and there are numerous National Trust properties. Eating out You are spoilt for choice - from local pubs to top class restaurants we have them nearby serving fabulous local produce including seafood and meat. Come and stay! You won t regret it!
London - Road: M4 westbound to Bristol. At Bristol take M5 south to Exeter. At Exeter take the A38 Plymouth road. Exit at A384 signposted Buckfastleigh Totnes Salcombe and Dartington. Follow signs to Totnes. After approximately 3 miles take a left turn signposted Broadhempston and Staverton. The lanes are narrow from here. Follow the lane through Staverton village and another 2 miles to Broadhempston. Keep straight - we are on the left opposite two large green telephone wiring/broadband boxed. Welcome! br/ br/ Totnes station - Train: Trains to Totnes source at London Paddington or London Waterloo. You will need to hire a car at Totnes or Newton Abbot for your stay as there is no public transport in the village. br/ br/ Exeter airport - Air: You will need to hire a car from Exeter airport. Follow the road from Exeter airport to M5 southbound then A38 towards Plymouth. Exit at the A384 towards Totnes and Dartington. After /- four miles turn left signposted Staverton and Broadhempston. Follow the lane through Staverton village and onwards into Broadhempston (approx 3 miles). Don t turn off anywhere and on entering Broadhempston village we are about 300 yards on the left hand side opposite two large green telephone wiring boxes.
