p The Seagulls Nest apartment is adjoined to Carters Rest Guesthouse. The guesthouse is 9 miles from Dunvegan and very close to Neist Point lighthouse there is an abundance of wildlife including Minke whales seals basking sharks otters dolphins and porpoises. There are regular sightings of golden eagles and sea eagles. Published rates for the apartment are for 2 guests an additional charge of £15 per extra person is applicable. /p p A JAYBE double sofa bed is situated in the lounge making the apartment suitable for up to four people. The apartment kitchen is fully equipped with hob oven washing machine/dryer fridge freezer etc. Basic condiments detergent laundry products luxury Isle of Aran toiletries are provided. The spacious bathroom is elegantly tiled and comprises of a bath with shower large electrically heated towel rail wash hand basin toilet and razor point. Toiletries and towels are provided. /p p We regret that we are unable to accept dogs or children under the age of 10 years. The guesthouse has three en-suite rooms and prices include fully cooked breakfast. From April-October cooked breakfast may be booked in the guesthouse - there may be one or two days a month where this isn t possible please check at the time of booking. Regardless of your starting location you will approach Kyle of Lochalsh on the A87. As you enter Kyle of Lochalsh the Skye Bridge is clearly signposted. Keep on the main road and go straight through the traffic lights in the centre of the town until you reach the bridge. Depending on weather and time you will get spectacular views from the bridge of Lochalsh the Islands of Scalpay Eilean Mor and Raasay. After crossing the bridge you will arrive at a small roundabout. Bear right and head for Broadford still on the A87. This is the main coastal road that leads to Portree. Follow the road for approximately 23 miles going through Broadford Luib and Sconser until you reach Sligachan. Cross the bridge at Sligachan and turn left leaving the A87 and joining the A863 which goes inland crossing from the east coast to the west and passing near the famous Talisker Whisky Distillery. Proceed along the winding road for approximately 23 miles passing Drynoch and going through Bracadale Struan and Roskhill until reaching the outskirts of Dunvegan.
