I booked myself a room in the Moorland Hotel at HayTor. I think I learnt to love the moor in those days. I loved the Tors and the heather and all the wild part of it away from the roads . Whilst the en-suite rooms won t win prizes for contemporary styling they are clean and extremely good value. Dogs and horses very welcome. 10 minutes from the A38 and Bovey Tracey.
