It has been renovated to retain much of its character with many exposed beams and even the original butler's sink. The woodburner helps to make the Lodge a cosy and romantic retreat. The cottage looks out onto the beautiful pond home to wildfowl exotic ducks and chickens and geese.As well as the wonderful walk to Sissinghurst Castle there are many others through acres of woodland and countryside accessed directly from the cottage by footpath. The charming country town of Cranbrook is only three miles away.Remarks: Children must be supervised in pond area at all times. Laundry service offered in main house - small charge.
