Each 'house' has a kitchen (microwave, utensils, toaster, blender, refrigerator, oven, stove, coffee maker, dishwasher, etc.), living room, fireplace, bedrooms and bathrooms - which makes this villa perfect for big groups and families that want to enjoy time together but privacy as well.The first house sleeps 5 people. It has two double bedrooms, one single bedroom and two bathrooms. The second house sleeps 4 people, it has two double bedrooms and a bathroom. The third house sleeps 10 people, it has two double rooms, two triple rooms and four bathrooms.With a doubt, you are bound to enjoy the spectacular calming views and green landscape of the area, the terrace from where you can watch the sunset, the quintessential romantic suite (traditionally decorated with antique furniture restored and adapted to provide comfort). All this and more you will find at this property.The outside area is lovely and invites spending evenings sharing conversations over a delicious Catalan meal or glass of cava, in a relaxed atmosphere among friends and family. You'll enjoy the BBQ, views of the surroundings and the tranquility. You will find a large garden and swimming pool to enjoy the outdoors with children.The house is located in Porqueres town, nearby Banyoles, which is one of the cities with the best quality of life, according to a study by the University of Oviedo (Spain), based on social services, housing, transport, environment, the labour market, health, culture and leisure. A great part of Banyoles is occupied by Lake Banyoles, which is the largest natural lake in the Iberian Peninsula, with a radius of four miles, offers the possibility to rent boats to paddle or go fishing! It also hosted Olympic Games official 1992 and World Rowing Championships 2004!In the vicinity is the Natural Park of the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone. Banyoles offers great natural and many outdoors activities. The surroundings of the property are formed by a setting of green hills!If you love open spaces, the sun, the green of nature and the sound of birds, this property is ideal for your holiday! Other attractions around the area, as the church Santa Maria del Turers (XIV), La Pia Almoina (XIV century medieval building), the Llotja of Tint (XV century) and the neoclassical monastery of Sant Esteve, invite the explorers of the architecture to meet history. You can also visit the Archaeological Museum, which retains a Neanderthal jaw!For water sports and marine nature lovers is also a wonderful opportunity to visit the famous L' Estartit, located just 50 km from the property! There you will find the Medes Islands archipelago, where diving is the main attraction activity to observe the wide variety of flora and fauna living "poseidoneas" throughout the archipelago with over 1200 species classified. In the area of L' Estartit you can take walking excursions too, with the most experienced guides. With a large sandy beach, good access, parking areas and deep water, is an ideal environment for children, couples, families and friends. If you choose to travel without adequate holiday insurance cover, we will not be liable for any losses however arising in respect of which insurance cover would otherwise have been available.Damage deposit / Accidental Damage Waiver (ADW)The Manager charges an Accidental Damage Protection Fund which is a non-refundable one time payment of 45 Euros and cover unintentional damage to the rented holiday home and its inventory during your stay. Repairs will be handled and paid for directly by the Property Manager to a total maximum value of 500 EUR. Please note that this fund does not cover willful and negligent behavior or vandalism. The guest must ensure that the property is returned in a presentable and tidy state including the washing-up of dishes, cutlery, and kitchen utensils etc., emptying of the refrigerator, the freezer, dust bins, cleaning of the BBQ and removal of rubbish/trash. This is also valid although the guest has paid a final cleaning or such a cleaning is already included in the rent. A generous allowance of water and electricity is included in the rental price; however, you will be charged for abuse of these services (leaving water/hoses open and running for long periods of time, door/windows open when using air-conditioning/heating, etc.) Water and electricity readings are taken before and after every stay in every property.Party SizeAt no time must any more persons occupy a property than stated on the booking form, except with prior written agreement. Property StandardsWe have carefully selected and inspected all the properties that we advertise and we endeavor to maintain high standards. However, if you have a problem during your holiday, immediately inform the local representative who will then endeavor to put things right. If you fail to do this we cannot accept responsibility, as we have not had the opportunity to investigate and rectify the problem. Change and Non Availability of accommodationOn rare occasions it may be unavoidable to change your chosen villa because of circumstances beyond our or the owners control; we will endeavor to inform you of this asap and offer you either alternative accommodation of similar or superior standard, a refund if nothing is suitable or discuss other options. Air ConditioningAir conditioning means units in at least 2 areas of the villa (for example, living room and bedroom). We accept no responsibility for the breakdown of these units under any circumstances although we will always endeavor to rectify the matter as soon as possible.PetsPets are welcome at some of our properties. Please ask.CleaningThe maid service will be on your day of arrival and day of departure only. Most houses do have washing machines or, should you wish, additional cleaning & laundry can usually be arranged at an additional charge.
