general: Located in the region of Trás-os-Montes, in Vilar de Viando, Mondim de Basto, the Quinta do Fundo finds itself between the rivers Tâmega and Cabril, on the foot of Farinha Hill (Senhora da Graça), few kilometres away from the 'Fisgas de Ermelo' waterfalls and nearby the Nature Park of Alvão. Here, getting in touch with the Nature, you are able to spend your holidays, or simply a weekend. The estate has, as its main agricultural exploitation, wine production. In this region is produced the 'Vinho Verde' (Green Wine) (Protected Designation of Origin), the estate wine is produced and bottled with the brand name 'Quinta do Fundo'.
