The beautiful foyer will open up to the serenity pool with meditation beds and bar. In order to reduce the impact on the environment a cutting-edge point of source water filter with 5 stage filtration and UV filter has been installed at the sink and connected to the refrigerator's ice and water system. No need to buy bottled water or ice.The locally made furniture in the living room includes a pullout sofa and plenty of sitting to watch internet connected television or to listen to music on the Bose music system. The hand made dining table can seat 6 with an additional outdoor table in Casa de Maya's private outdoor garden courtyard. Surrounded by tropical fruit trees you can relax in one of the hammocks.Understanding that a vacation is not just about doing things, but also enjoying a good night's (or afternoon) sleep, you will be welcome to king size beds with plenty of pillows, crisp white duvets, internet televisions, sheer drapes and blackout curtains in all rooms. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated with locally styled furniture and art. The master bedroom includes a patio surrounded by tropical plants with comfortable chairs and bistro table for your morning coffee. A state of the art safe is secured in the master bedroom to hold your computer and valuables.When your clothes are dirty you will find a washer and dryer as well as an iron and ironing board (even though you are on vacation and shouldn't be ironing your clothes, it's there for you). As well as plenty of closet space in the locally made tropical hardwood closets with custom made draws.When it's time to hit the beach, you can grab one of the onsite bikes or walk down the dedicated bike path, just past the ecological reserve. Feel free to take the portable foldup cabana and snorkeling mask to the public beaches or enjoy one of the many nearby beach clubs. The adventures of Tulum extend beyond the beach to one of dozens of the local cenotes (natural swimming holes), Maya ruins or wonderful shops within a short bike ride. In fact there is a smaller cenote only one block behind Trinity.Our goal in designing Casa de Maya was to provide the best vacation experience by simply showing up and not having to worry about whether you forgot something or missing out on an experience. Equally important is the ability to enter a decompression mode to recharge your mind and body. We hope that your experience will create lasting memories for you and your fellow travelers.INTERACTION WITH GUEST Casa de Maya is owned by a couple based in the New York City area, but is professional managed by a leading hospitality company. They will be there to greet you, address any questions and be there for any of your needs. Notes**There is construction work in the property, it could be a bit noisy during the day.**✔ The cost of electricity is very high in Tulum, therefore, this service is separated from our rates, that is why we suggest making moderate use of Air Conditioning, this way you can control what you pay. The price per KW is MXN $6 pesos and it's paid in cash once you check out.✔ A security deposit is required for $500 USD or its equivalent in MXN pesos (Cash or Credit Card) during your stay, refundable upon your departure.
