In nearby towns there are local shops where you can find fresh produce and other items, but if you need a larger shopping center there is one located only 15 km (10 mi) from the property where you can purchase groceries and essentials.The ExperienceThis beautiful farmhouse is located in a very quiet and secluded position on the Castello di Volpaia estate, where we have successfully been renting two other properties, La Pozza and Il Casetto for many years. Guests can enjoy incredible views from the covered terrace, which is furnished for outdoor eating and is also very practical for families as it overlooks the pool, allowing parents to relax while keeping an eye on the pool area. The fortified hamlet of Volpaia offers two nice restaurants, one of which owned by the estate. The English speaking estate staff can organize cooking lessons, visits to the wine cellars and will be glad to assist guests during their stay. After arriving at Casavecchia you'll find a lovely clean well-maintained property with views of the hills ideal for a splendid vacation in Tuscany. After a busy day of visiting museums, spend some time with friends and family poolside enjoying a glass of wine - a perfect way to unwind at the end the day. It's very convenient to have a washing machine on the property that is available for your laundry needs. Sharing a meal with friends and family is a big part of the Tuscan culture. Take advantage of the well-equipped kitchen to prepare meals using local produce while on your holiday.
