Situated on the 3rd floor of a prestigious building with lift (there are 8 steps to climb from the lift to the apartment door), this 60 sq.mt apartment has been skilfully organized to create distinct, divided areas, yet remain open, resembling a studio.

The property opens out into the living-room with a 160 cm wide double sofa bed and the dining area. Behind a wall you will find the well equipped kitchen and on the opposite side, behind another wooden divider, you will find the very comfortable double bed. A door leads into the marble bathroom which is complete with bath-tub. Furthermore, there is a small powder room with sink which is also the laundry room. The apartment has classic stave wooden flooring and beamed ceilings.

The apartment is located inside Palazzo Medici, an impressive building (palazzo) dating back to the XVI century which represents a typical example of true renaissance Florentine architecture. The palazzo is located in Via dei Serragli, on the characteristic Oltrarno side of Florence just a stone's throw from the city's main monuments and tourist attractions.

Palazzo Medici is now home to 8 elegant apartments thanks to a recent restoration programme which has skilfully combined modern comforts and luxury furnishings maintaining the building's original historical features which include beautiful serena stone columns, magnificent frescoes and coffered wooden ceilings. The building also boasts a grand, triangular-shaped glass elevator which connects the 8 apartments spread over 3 floors, and there is a covered loggia on the third floor which belongs to the Buonarroti apartment. Each of the apartments has its own real unique and enchanting atmosphere that will take you back in time without comprising on comfort and practicality. Palazzo Medici is ideal for large groups or families who wish to visit Florence and stay together in one building by combining two or more apartments.

Pricing Information:

Included in the price: utility bills always included for rentals up to 30 days, for rentals over 30 days included until 70,00€ per month, Internet service, condo expenses.

Excluded from the price: city tax (2,50€ per person only over the age of 12 - per night for the first 7 nights); utility bills for rentals over 30 days if exceeding 70,00€ per month (difference calculated on meter readings); contract registration fee for rentals over 30 days. The contract is in the Italian language and the fee is equal to 1% of the total rental price (with the minimum fee being 33,50€) plus 30,00€ for revenue stamps.

At check-in, the guest is required to bring the necessary documentation for the local authorities:

- a photocopy of their Passport or Identity Card (all persons over the age of 18)

- the VISA if required by their Nationality (all persons over the age of 18)

Beware:

for arrivals between 7PM and 10PM there is an extra cost of 20 euros to pay in cash on arrival.

For arrivals between after 10PM there is an extra of 40 euros to pay in cash on arrival

The Security Deposit will be returned to the Client in full within 5 days of the termination of the contract

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Company may replace the Property with another of identical or superior quality, should the Company be unable to guarantee the Client use of the Property due to events of force majeure or for any contingencies beyond the Company's control. If the Client has a reasonable and substantiated cause for refusing the Property offered by way of replacement, the Company will refund the Client the amounts paid. No further amounts shall be due by the Company to the Client.

The Client agrees that the maximum number of people entitled to occupy the Property is that set forth in the Booking Confirmation. Non-compliance with this obligation shall entail payment to the Company of a penalty equivalent to 30% of the overall price for the Property for each additional person.
