MarktlAlm Turracher Höhe with its villages Almdorf Turrach and Almdorf Sonnleitn is located on the Turracher Höhe mountain pass at 1711 metres above sea level. It consists of 30 huts and a restaurant amid Europe's largest Swiss stone pine forest.The huts feature a fully equipped kitchen a dining corner a living room with a wood-burning oven and free of charge firewood. They also have a terrace or a balcony. Some units feature a wood-fired sauna.Typical Carinthian and Styrian specialties can be enjoyed in the restaurant on site. On request fresh bread rolls can be delivered to your door every morning.The slopes can be reached via a ski path across the street. You can also use the free shuttle service taking you to the ski schools and ski lifts and back again.
