Family-run for 80 years Hotel Gasthof Post is situated in the centre of Elbigenalp in the Lech Valley. The restaurant has a terrace and serves Austrian cuisine and Tyrolean specialities.In the 19th century the Post Hotel was owned by Queen Marie of Bavaria mother of King Ludwig II. The dining room and 3 of the bedrooms still date back to this period.The individually furnished Alpine-style rooms feature a flat-screen satellite TV a safe and a bathroom. Some have a balcony.A varied breakfast buffet is available every morning and a salad buffet is provided for dinner. Gluten-free dishes are available on request.A ski storage room and free parking are available on site. The Warth-Schröcken Ski Area can be reached in a 25-minute drive.In summer the Lechtal Aktiv Card is included in the rate.
