The hotel is situated in Abadán, a city that lies in the meanders of the river Euphrates. Originally the hotel opened its door for the first time in 1971 and stopped functioning when the war started. After the war, the fundamental reconstruction stared and in 2008 the hotel began to operate under Pars Hotels Group.
