Khaled's Camp is situated 12 km from Rum Village and is tucked inside one of Wadi Rum protected areas. It is within close proximity to hiking trekking and climbing sites as well as the wilderness zone for those visitors wanting to experience greater tranquility and solitude. Nearby is the newly installed telescope at the observation point. A five minute walk will have you gazing at a million stars.The private camp features washroom facilities. Mattresses and blankets are provided. Various styles of sleeping accommodations like the iconic Bedouin tent known as bait al shaar or "house of hair" because of the goat hair used in its production. There are private tents which can accommodate up to 6 people. Sleeping under the stars is an amazing way to experience the desert.Guests can enjoy the "private cave" if they are wishing for greater seclusion.
