Our accommodation is located near the beautiful city of Ypres, in the middle of historical sites of World War I, but also in one of the quietest places in Flanders. oGolfclub De Palingbeek and other ones in France (Bondues, Lille), are only 10- 20 miles away. oLille, the capital of French Flanders, is really nearby. oThe Somme, battle area of the First World War, can be visited from here! oFields, hills and woods surround us.: Mount Kemmel, Bois du Gheer at Ploegsteert and the French border are only a few miles away from our farm. oThis is the ideal place for biking, walking, golfing or horseback riding. oThe 'Ice Mountain' (indoor skiing) in Comines is only a 10 minutes drive.
