There s plenty to see and appreciate including stunning Romanesque and Gothic architecture and the impressive tomb of King Edward II. The city s also engulfed with all the shops restaurants museums culture and history you could ever wish for. M5 from the south - Road: Exit the M5 at Jct 11a and take the A417 Barnwood Bypass (off the slip road) to Gloucester. At the first and second roundabouts drive straight over. At the third roundabout turn right into Barnwood Road (signed to city centre and Gloucester Royal Hospital). At the next roundabout carry straight over into London Road. M5 (from the North) - Road: Exit the motorway at Jct 11 and take the A40 to Gloucester. At the end of the dual carriageway carry straight over the roundabout onto the B4063 Cheltenham road. At the next roundabout carry straight over again and up a slight incline. Continue at the lights onto London Road. The Edward Hotel is 400m on the left past the speed camera but before the zebra crossing. A40 Rross on Wye - Road: Follow ring road signs towards M5/Cheltenham until roundabout with M5/Cheltenham signed to the left. Turn right at this roundabout onto the B4063 Cheltenham road signed Longlevens. At the next roundabout carry straight over again and up a slight incline. Continue at the lights onto London Road.
