Located in the centre of Emmeloord on a large market square, this hotel offers plenty of free parking space for all guests travelling with their personal vehicles. The city itself is in a polder, land reclaimed from the IJsselmeer, which earlier was part of the sea and has now turned into a busy commercial and industrial area. Besides the shopping centre, which is just outside of its front door, the hotel is conveniently close to the Batavia Shipyard, the Batavia outlet centre, the Orchid Farm, Urk, Schokland, Giethoorn and the nature reserve 'Weerribben'.
