Mounteney s is our 400 year old farmhouse which overlooks Inglestone Common and the Ancient Lower Woods which are 10 minutes walk away. The farmhouse is grade II listed and retains wonderful period features. It is situated in a quiet location and is easily accessible from both the M4 and M5 motorways and is only a 30 minute drive from Bristol. Badminton Horse Trials are 6 miles from Mounteney s. Castle Combe Race Circuit is 30 minutes away. Nearby towns include Wotton Under Edge just 3 miles away with towns including Yate Stroud Tetbury Cirencester Gloucester and Bath all within easy travelling distance. br / br / The Cotswold Way which attracts walkers and cyclists from all over the world is very local. Uniquely we offer a drop-off and collection service to and from The Way for an additional small fee for guests without their own transport who wish to enjoy The Way. Westonbirt Arboretum and Dyrham Park are also nearby attractions which are very popular. br / br / Public transport: br / br / Visitors to the area can travel by bus or train to Yate and there is a local Stagecoach bus which travels from Yate to Wickwar which is 1 mile from the farmhouse. br / br / br / br / Please note you will need to write Mounteney s Farm into Google maps which will bring you to the door.
