There is a 24 hour supermarket just a jump away and the Victoria market and a Tesco s within 1-5 mins walk. We are less than a 7 minutes walk from the hip and vibrant Nottingham city centre and within walking distance from all the major city centre tourist attractions. Over the years we have welcomed over 50 000 people from all over the world and to this day we continue to be an ideal place for close friendships to be created and our guests return year after year. /p Each private room in The Pods offers cool & cozy private accommodation using mainly up-cycled and secondhand furniture with added touches of top notch comfort features (hello memory foam mattresses flat screen TVs & free WiFi) and unique personality (including murals in the rooms spray painted by talented local graffiti artist Smallkid)... we are truly passionate to show how hostels should look and feel these days and we hope you ll come see for yourself!. A shared kitchen is fully-equipped for self-catering and includes free tea coffee and sugar. High quality bathrooms are shared and found on the first and second floor and there is a laundry service available on request. p Each private room in The Annexe offers comfortable private accommodation with memory foam mattresses and free Wi-Fi. Rooms have a flat-screen TV work desk and seating area. A shared kitchen is fully-equipped for self-catering and includes free tea coffee and sugar. High quality bathrooms are shared and adjacent to the rooms and there is a laundry service available on request. /p All of our buildings are environmentally aware using eco-friendly and recycled products wherever possible. We are proud to have been awarded a Certificate Of Excellence by Trip Advisor for 2013. p Please note that for all private rooms (Annexe & Pods) we take a £20 key-deposit per set of keys upon arrival which will be returned to you when checking out. Check-in time for the Annexe / Pods is after 3pm and Check-out time is before 10:30 am. /p For all buildings you are welcome to check in earlier and leave your luggage stored in the office (our reception is open from 7am 1am 7 days a week). Please note that Photo-ID is required from all guests when checking in. p For all reservations of 4 nights or more a 50% non-refundable deposit payment for the full stay will be charged upon booking. For bookings arriving on a Friday or Saturday night full payment will be charged to the card the booking was made with up to 3 days prior to arrival (this is the only way for us to make sure we are not holding a booking with an invalid card). If paying with a Credit Card or a foreign Debit Card there is a £1 charge on all payments under £40 and a 2.5% charge on all payments of £40 or more. If you wish for payment to be charged to a different card or split payment over several different cards then please contact our reception with new card details at least 4 days prior to your arrival date. /p

Walk - The Igloo is centrally located within 10-12 minutes walking distance from the T.I.C at Market Square. Head in the direction of Clumber Street and walk straight past the Victoria Shopping Centre up Mansfield Rd to the Golden Fleece pub on your left. We are diagonally opposite. Please note entry is on the side of the building 110 Mansfield Road (a red front door through a red gate on the corner of Mansfield Road and Fulforth Street). Walking from the stations will take 18-20 minutes at most. We will send you a link to our map by mail with the route clearly marked so you can find us easily. Carrying lots of luggage There is a new FREE city link bus every 10 min between 07.00 - 19.00 from Broadmarsh bus station to Victoria station both ways. We are on the next corner up on your right. Arriving from the airport you should catch the Skylink bus and get off at the Friar Lane stop by Market Square. Walk diagonally across the square past the lion statue and you will see the information centre. We are 10 minutes by foot from here (see directions above).
