FREE WI-FI in all area s. The King s Highway is a 27 bedroomed hotel operated by JD Wetherspoon comprising of Singles doubles twins families and a disabled equipped room with walk in shower. All of our bedrooms are en-suite with flat screen TV. complimentary tea coffee biscuits and mineral water with comfortable sealy beds. All rooms have a hair dryer iron and ironing boards. We serve breakfast from 7am until noon and our full food menu is availbale until 11pm 7 days a week. We do not have a car park but there is a Multi-storey 3 minutes from us and prices are from £1.40 up to £7.00 for 24 hours. You can park in the Street Free from 18.00pm until 08.00am. We do have a lift on site. Inverness is the Gateway to the Highlands with a rich variety of places to visit and things to do both in and around the city. The city boasts a host of historic buildings notably in the Old Town which you can appreciate while you browse city shops from the Victorian Market to the new award-winning Eastgate centre. Take a stroll to Inverness Castle currently used as a courthouse and St Andrew s Cathedral which dominate the River Ness and one of the most beautiful riverside settings in Britain. Enjoy the fine circular walk from the castle along the river and through the Ness Islands where you can watch anglers casting long lines to leaping Atlantic salmon. You can even buy a daily ticket and try it for yourself. Above the city lies Craig Phadrig once the stronghold of Pictish Kings which offers interesting forest walks and magnificent views of the Moray Firth home to a diverse range of wildlife including bottlenose dolphins which can even be seen from the city. Take in one of our many events and festivals which will be updated throughout the year explore the art history and heritage of the Highlands at Inverness Museum & Art Gallery or relax in the tropical gardens at Inverness Floral Hall - or why not take an open-topped bus ride round the city or a Cruise down the Caledonian Canal to world famous Loch Ness. Also alongside the canal is the fascinating and unusual Titanic Inverness Maritime Museum. Likes of Lochness Marathon Rockness Festival. Beladrum Festival also each year more and more big star s now come to Inverness and play different venues. If that s not enough there s plenty more to see and do around Inverness.

When arriving at Inverness via the northbound A9: Turn left off the A9 at Millburn Road and follow towards the city centre. This leads straight onto Academy Street. Once in town take your second left at the traffic lights (you should pass farmfoods on your left hand side) and then 1st right which takes you onto Church Street we are 100 yards on the left hand side. Arriving by train - come out of the station and walk down Strothers Lane continue at the end over to Queensgate and turn right on to Church Street - the hotel is just on Church Street
