Set amid some of the oldest olive trees in Puglia, this 16th century sighting tower, originally constructed to avoid the attacks of the Turkish pirates, has been lovingly restored into a five star resort. The bedrooms are situated in a single storey building in the herbal gardens and are delightfully furnished using colours and materials that reflect the hotel's original era. The ancient haylofts have been converted into charming and cosy sitting rooms.Dining is a wonderful experience under the arched ceilings of the restaurant Egnathia which serves traditional Apulian specialities or creative Mediterranean cuisine using fresh produce from the hotel's own garden.
