Below the famous Mill of Retz at the foot of a small hill full of idyllic vineyards of Retzer Land - a country abundant in beauties of unspoilt nature - there lies our jewel - the Althof Hotel. "Althof" can be translated into English as "the Old Yard". It used to be a city castle in the Middle Ages and as such it was a centre point of the city administration. Nowadays the old traditions mingle here with modern trends in a sensitive manner - with a great deal of feeling and love in terms of detail.
